Obituary
Virginia (Ginny) Hampton was welcomed into the arms of her merciful Savior on the afternoon of November 5, 2010, surrounded by her devoted family, after a brief illness. She was always a devout Catholic, a loving woman to all who knew her, and a ray of sunshine to everyone she met. Ginny was a Registered Nurse and an accomplished crafter, leaving many keepsakes for all of us to treasure. She is the wife of the late Kenneth Hampton and daughter of the late Ernest and Margaret Kirstein. Also preceded in death by her brother, Ernest Kirstein. Ginny is survived by her sons, Ken (Kathi) of Munroe Falls, Dan (Kendra) of Medina, Matt (Peggy) of Randolph; daughters, Sue Mastroianni (Tony) of Westerville, Patrice Jenstrom (Del) of Crofton, MD, grandchildren Matt, Eric, Alex, Lisa, Sean, James, Iver, Ian, Amy, Kai, Dorothy, Emma, Michael, Brian, Ian, Alex and Zach. She is also survived by sister Irene Selders, brother and sister-in-law Robert and Jan Kirstein, brother-in-law and sister-in-law Fred and Mary Lou Hampton, sister-in-law Phyllis Kirstein, 20 nieces and nephews, countless friends and extended family, and dear pilgrimage “family”. Ginny will forever be an angel looking over our hearts and lives. The family will receive friends 4-7 PM Thursday at the Hilliard-Rospert Funeral Home, 174 N. Lyman St., Wadsworth. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11:00 AM Friday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 272 Broad St., Wadsworth. Interment Woodlawn Cemetery.
