Josie was the former First Lady of Wadsworth from 1990 – 2000 and the former manager of Ann’s Pastry Shop for 32 years. She loved spending time with her family more than anything, and loved her grandchildren and great grandchildren more than life itself, attending their sporting events and performances until the very end. In their younger years, Josie and John enjoyed dancing the Polka and square dancing, and she loved making them matching outfits. Josie especially enjoyed gardening, cleaning her woods, going to the cabin in Canada and their Blue Oasis in Marblehead. She instilled the love of watching old classic movies in her children and grandchildren, her favorites being The Sound of Music and The King and I.

Josie was preceded in death by her beloved husband, John, and her siblings: Joe Slanovec, Frances Kolarik, Mary Uster, Betty Haynes and her dear friend Bob Docs.

She is also survived by her brother-in-law and sister-in-law, David Hanna and Joan (Randy) Heller and many loving nieces and nephews, whom she adored.

As you were in life, you will always be treasured in our hearts and memories.
