George L. Hardison, 88, of Wadsworth passed away Wednesday, June 8, 2016. He was born May 27, 1928 in Stokes, NC to the late George and Olivian Hardison.

Mr. Hardison was a member of The Chapel, a U.S. Marine veteran and was retired from Babcock and Wilcox.

George is survived by his wife Lois, daughter and son-in-law Diane and Richard Camp of Wadsworth, son Dirk Hardison of Savannah, GA and two grandsons Zachariah Camp of Akron and Mackenzie Camp of Wadsworth.

Funeral services will be conducted 4:30pm, Saturday at the Hilliard-Rospert Funeral Home, 174 N. Lyman St., Wadsworth. The family will receive friends 1 hour prior to the service from 3:30-4:30pm.

Interment will be in Meadowbrook Cemetery, Lumberton, NC.
