Jack Clayton Harris, 75, of Wadsworth, passed away on October 24, 2016 after a long battle with the complications of diabetes. He was born in Barberton, Ohio on August 21, 1941 to the late Charles and Mary Harris.

Jack was a hard worker, working for over 30 years at BF Goodrich and many other side jobs, but his greatest love was the outdoors. He was an avid hunter shooting squirrels, groundhogs, turkey, wild boar, deer and other such animals. His greatest memories are all centered on his many years in the woods. He will be greatly missed! He was also a member of Wadsworth United Methodist Church.

He was preceded in death by his brothers Ernest and Robert; son-in-law Dan Skerl and sister-in-law Susan Sega. Jack leaves behind his wife Karen; daughters Kim (Larry) Martell and Deanna (Don) Ruff ; step-daughters Kari (Bill) Hall and Michelle McCleester (Rod); grandchildren Alec Skerl, Josh and Lydia Ruff, and Tre’ and Navaeh Hall; brother-in-law Larry Sega; along with many other family members and close friends.

The family will receive friends 11am-12 noon Friday, October 28 at Hilliard-Rospert Funeral Home, 174 North Lyman Street, Wadsworth, OH, where funeral services will be conducted at 12pm with Pastor Don Ebert officiating.
