George A. Harter, 70, of Orrville, formerly Wadsworth passed away Thursday, May 13, 2010. Born July 22, 1939 in Wadsworth, OH to Frank Sr. and Margaret (Mazey) Harter.
Mr. Harter graduated from Wadsworth Senior High School in 1957 and attended the University of Akron. He was a U.S. Army veteran. In 1996 he started and operated his own landscaping company in Florida.
Preceded in death by his father Frank Sr. Surviving are his mother Margaret Harter, brother Frank Harter Jr., sister Barbara Harter, nieces Lisa Mustilier and Christina Harter, and special friends Chris and Kurt Meister.
The family will receive friends 6-8 PM Monday at the Hilliard-Rospert Funeral Home, 174 N. Lyman St. Wadsworth where funeral services will be conducted 11:00 AM Tuesday. Interment Woodlawn Cemetery.
