William L. Hartley, 92, of Wadsworth passed away Tuesday, March 9, 2010. Born August 29, 1917 in Alma, MI to the late Oakley and Ellen (nee West) Hartley.
Mr. Hartley retired from PPG Limestone Mine after 35 plus years of service and owned Hartley Tack Shop for 45 years.
He is survived by his wife Martha, children; Edward and Pamela Hartley, Joyce McCrork (late Robert), William Hartley Jr. (Bonnie), Sally and John Michaels, and David Hartley (Vicky), 13 grandchildren, and 17 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 PM Friday at the Hilliard-Rospert Funeral Home, 174 N. Lyman St. Wadsworth with Pastor Steve Ferguson officiating. The family will receive friends two hours prior to services from 11 AM – 1 PM. Interment Greenlawn Memorial Park.
