Kathryn Irene Hastler, 91, of Wadsworth passed away Sunday, May 20, 2018. She was born August 26, 1926 in Akron to the late Clyde and Chloe Holtzapple.
Mrs. Hastler was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, was a member and past president of the Wadsworth Rittman Hospital Auxiliary, she enjoyed bowling, golfing, gardening and Wadsworth Sports Teams. She was a member of the Wadsworth Women’s Club and Red Hats.
Mrs. Haslter was preceded in death by her husband James E. Hastler, son-in-law Rick,daughter-in-law Gail and great-grandson Paxton.
Kathryn is survived by her daughter Stephanie ( Russ) Jones, daughter Cindy Gorfido, son Erick and daughter Sally (Jim) Gordon. There are 9 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.
The family will receive friends 5-8pm Thursday at the Hilliard-Rospert Funeral Home, 174 N. Lyman St., Wadsworth. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11am Friday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 272 Broad St., Wadsworth. Interment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery.
