John F. Havel, 79, of Wadsworth passed away Thursday June 30, 2016. He was born in Cleveland on March 17, 1937 to the late John and Loretta (nee Eickhoff) Havel.

Mr. Havel was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and was retired from Clevite-Mahle Corporation.

He was a member of Ariel Motorcycle Owners Club of North America, the Matchless Motorcycle Club and BSA Motorcycle Club and enjoyed working on motorcycles and anything mechanical.

John is survived by his wife Donna, son John Havel of FL, daughters; Andrea Long (Michael) of Medina, Danette Degner (Paul) of MD and five grandchildren.

The family will receive friends 4-8 pm Tuesday at the Hilliard-Rospert Funeral Home, 174 N. Lyman St., Wadsworth.

Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 11 am Wednesday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 272 Broad St., Wadsworth. Interment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery.
