Alice M. Hays (nee Mann), 80, of Wadsworth passed away Monday, January 4, 2016, She was born January 20, 1935 in Pen Argyl, PA, to the late Vernon and Marian (nee Palmer) Mann.

Mrs. Hays was a member of Trinity United Church of Christ where she was very active with the women’s groups and was a member of the choir.

Alice is survived by her husband Thomas with whom she celebrated 59 years of marriage on November 24, 2015, two sons; Brian (Dr. Johanna) Hays of Winnetka, CA, and Kenneth (Lorrie) Hays of Mason, OH,

grandchildren; Austin Petersen-Hays, Christian Petersen-Hays, Megan Trout, Kelsey Trout, Corey Losekamp and Logan Hays.

She was preceded in death 7 sisters, Emma, Orella, Mildred, Ruth, Lorraine, Doris, and Bertha and her step-mother Janie.

The family will receive friends 4-7pm Friday at the Hilliard-Rospert Funeral Home, 174 N. Lyman St. Wadsworth and 10-11am Saturday at Trinity United Church of Christ. Funeral services will be 11am Saturday at Trinity United Church of Christ, 215 High St., Wadsworth, with the Rev. Daniel Doty. Interment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery.
