Patrick Lewis Hayth, 94, of Wadsworth passed away Saturday, November 4, 2023. He was born April 5, 1929 in Akron to the late Chester and Evelyn Hayth.
Mr. Hayth was a graduate of Wadsworth High school, served in the U.S. Navy and after his time of service graduated from the University of Akron with a Business Degree.
He spent his professional career in the transportation business as an analyst and was retired form Roadway.
He was a member of Wadsworth American Legion Post # 170, Wadsworth VFW Post #1089, Wadsworth Eagles Aerie #2117 and Wadsworth Moose Lodge # 2070.
When Pat was a young boy he was a golf caddy and continued to enjoy and play the game of golf throughout his life and was also an avid bowler.
He was preceded in death by his sister Elsie Brooks and brothers Ron Hayth and Chester Hayth Jr.
Patrick is survived by his wife Elnora with whom he celebrated 73 years of marriage, sons; Scott Hayth of Norton, Shawn (Cathy) Hayth of Louisville, KY, daughter Valary (John) Puchalsky of Norton, 5 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be conducted 1:00pm Thursday at the Hilliard-Rospert Funeral Home, 174 N. Lyman St. Wadsworth with Pastor Jonathan Hall officiating.
The family will receive friends 2 hours prior to service from 11am-1pm.
Interment with Military Honors will be in Woodlawn Cemetery immediately following the memorial service.
