James D. Heffelman, 59, of Wadsworth, died March 7, 2013. He was born April 29, 1953 to the late Merle and Helen Heffelman in Wadsworth.

James was a faithful member of Trinity United Church of Christ, where he enjoyed singing in the choir. He had a true passion for music and loved playing the piano.

Preceded in death by his siblings Neil and Peggy, he is survived by his wife of 38 years, Janet; son Shaun (Eden Berhane) Heffelman of Virginia; grandson Noah; siblings Edward and David Heffelman and Karen (Dale) Palmer and many loving nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends Sunday 2 to 5 PM at Hilliard-Rospert Funeral Home, 174 N. Lyman Street, Wadsworth and Monday 10 to 11 AM at Trinity United Church of Christ, 215 High Street, Wadsworth, where Rev. Daniel Doty will conduct the service at 11 AM. Interment at Woodlawn Cemetery. Should friends desire, memorials may be made in his memory to The Myotonic Dystrophy Foundation at www.myotonic.org.
