Jean N. Heltzel, age 95 of Wadsworth passed away on August 26, 2023. She was born in Long Island, NY to James and Harriet (Schwab) Stewart. Jean enjoyed cross stitching, painting, cooking and baking. She used her artistic talent to carve and decorate custom cakes.

Jean is survived by her son, Robert “Rob” & Mary (Wellman) Heltzel; and her granddaughter, Alison. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Robert “Bob” Heltzel; her sons, Mark and James “Jimmy” Heltzel; and her parents. The family would like to thank Jean’s Family at Coalridge, where she resided for the past 6 years and Harmony Hospice nurse, Gloria who provided special attention and care in her final days.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. The family requests memorial contributions to Harmony Hospice.
