David A. Higgins died unexpectedly on March 1, 2015.

David was born in Philadelphia, PA on September 20, 1983. He became a resident of Wadsworth, Ohio in 1985. David attended Wadsworth City Schools and played a variety of city sports throughout his youth.

David was an avid and passionate fan of LeBron James, the Cleveland Cavaliers, and the Cincinnati Bengals. David was an excellent landscaper, a natural with animals, and loved nature. He loved the family dog, Ming Jade. He lived and worked in the greater Cincinnati area for a number of years.

David is survived by his parents, Edward and Arlene (Buttery) Higgins of Wadsworth, sister Katherine Higgins of Wadsworth, brother Edward Higgins II and sister-in-law Megan Higgins (Felter) of Wadsworth, his Aunt Deborah Higgins of Ridgefield, Connecticut, his niece Faith Skrant, and his fiancé Angelique Mercer, of Hamilton, Ohio.

Services will be handled by Hilliard-Rospert Funeral Home of Wadsworth, Ohio and will be private. Anyone who would have wished to send flowers is instead encouraged to make a memorial donation in David’s name to Oriana House (<http://www.orianahouse.org/>).
