Margaret Ann Hodges passed away peacefully at home surrounded by loved ones on Tuesday June 28, 2016. She was born November 4, 1930 in Wadsworth to the late Albert and Anna Proper. Mrs. Hodges was a member of Grace Lutheran Church and was a graduate of Wadsworth High School Class of 1949. She lived a long, beautiful life devoted to her family and friends.

Margaret was preceded in death by her husband Robert G. Hodges in 2006, son-in-law Christopher Cole in 2009 and four siblings; Florence, Ruth, Charles and Dale.

She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law William Thomas and Diane Hodges of Yorktown, VA, son Robert Dale Hodges of Norton and daughter Cathy Lynne Cole of Bath. There are five grandchildren; William (Ellen) Hodges, Jason Hodges, Daniel and Rebecca Padolewski, Alexis Hodges, two great grandsons Johnny & James Hodges and several nieces and nephews.

The family is grateful to the Summa Hospice staff and volunteers.
A memorial service will be held 3:00pm Saturday at the Hilliard-Rospert Funeral Home, 174 N. Lyman St., Wadsworth with Rev. Mark Frey officiating. The family will receive friends two hours prior to the service from 1-3pm. Private inurnment will be in Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Stewart’s Caring Place, 2955 W. Market St., Fairlawn, OH 44333.
