Obituary
David B. Hopkins, 45, died suddenly September 6, 2013.
Dave was born September 29, 1967 in Melbourne, FL. He graduated from University of Wisconsin with a Bachelor of Business Administration – Accounting and founded DB Hopkins and Associates, located in downtown Wadsworth. He was the treasurer of Wadsworth Chamber of Commerce, served on the board of The Wadsworth Public Library Foundation, and worked with several other organizations focused on helping others. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, sailing, and watching his boys run Cross Country and Track.
He is survived by his wife, Christine, whom he would have celebrated 20 years of marriage to on October 2nd; sons Tyler and Duncan; his dog Malley; mother Ruby Williams of FL; father Earl (Judy) Hopkins of FL; brother Robert Hopkins of FL; sister Debbie (Brian) LaChance of PA; sister-in-law Jill (Kourosh) Kaveh of NV; father-in-law and mother-in-law Chuck and Sue Raw of FL and a host of other relatives and friends.
The family will receive friends Thursday 2 to 4 PM and 6 to 8 PM at Hilliard-Rospert Funeral Home, 174 N. Lyman Street in Wadsworth. Majors Tom and Debbie Grace will conduct the memorial service Friday 11 AM at First Christian Church, 116 E. Boyer Street in Wadsworth. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The Wadsworth Public Library Foundation, 132 Broad Street, Wadsworth, OH 44281
