James “Jim” Franklin Hosfeld, 75, of Wadsworth passed away Nov. 13, 2011. He was born on Feb. 27, 1936 in Fredericksburg, OH to the late Frank and Edna Hosfeld.
Jim served in the U.S. Marine Corps. He was a great mechanic and known for being able to fix anything. He was always willing to help others. Jim loved giving his grandchildren a hard time.
He was preceded in death by his brothers, Bill, Dale, Glenn, and Bob Hosfeld. He is survived by his children, Scott (Jessica) Hosfeld, Mina Hosfeld, other children, Lisa Hardy, Chris Simmons, and Renee Scrima; his grandchildren, Carter and Callum Hosfeld; and sisters, Fran Reese, Rose (Dick) Britton, and Eileen (Dick) Ely.
The Family will receive friends from 5-8 PM on Wednesday and from 11:30 -12:30 Thursday at the Hilliard-Rospert Funeral Home, 174 N. Lyman St., Wadsworth where funeral services will be held Thursday at 12:30 pm with Pastor Steve Bucy officiating. Interment will be in Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery.
