Donald R. Hughey Jr., 51, of Wadsworth, passed away Monday, April 27, 2015. He was born on May 4, 1963 in Lodi to the late Donald R. Sr. and Betty Hughey. He was currently employed by A. Schulman but prior to that had been employed by Diamond Polymers until they sold to A. Schulman. Don’s loves included his wife, his daughters, his neighbors and golf.

He was preceded in death by his sister Judy Wightman.

Don is survived by his wife Melissa with whom he would have celebrated 27 years of marriage in May, two daughters: Miranda (fiancé Troy) and Brenna. He is also survived by his half brother Frank Hughey, mother-in-law and father-in-law Patti and Ralph Durbin, sister-in-law Shanna Durbin, brothers-in-law Greg and Brad Durbin, nephew Rich (Debbie) Wightman and niece Cindy Wightman.

Funeral service will be conducted 3:00pm Saturday at the Hilliard-Rospert Funeral Home, 174 N. Lyman St. Wadsworth with Pastor Robert Combs officiating. The family will receive friends two hours prior to services from 1-3pm. Private interment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery at a later time.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the charity of the donors choice.
