J. Robert Hugi (Bob), 87 passed away Sept. 22, 2012. Born February 4, 1925 in Wadsworth to the late William and Lena Hugi. Mr. Hugi was a member of Grace Lutheran Church, a graduate of Wadsworth High School, a WWII Army Veteran and was retired from the U.S. Postal service after 35 years of service and worked for Clampo Products after retirement.
He was a Cleveland Indians fan, a woodworking craftsman, and helped to restore the Wadsworth Historical Society’s “Johnson House”. Bob loved traveling with his family and spending time with his grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife Joyce (nee Bird), brother Dale Hugi and sister Virginia Hugi.
Bob is survived by his son and daughter in law Robert (Angela Colic) Hugi of Mansfield and daughter and son in law Laura and Jere Daniels of Bellefontaine; granddaughters McKenzie. Auri, Stephanie and Lisa Kay. There are 8 Great Grandchildren.
The family will receive friends Thursday September 27, 2012 from 11am-1pm at the Hilliard Rospert Funeral Home 174 North Lyman St. Wadsworth, Ohio where Funeral Services will be conducted at 1pm with The Rev. Daniel J. Cammarn officiating. Interment will be at Woodlawn Cemetery.
