There they raised their two children Judy (Oscar) Mifsud of Wadsworth, Ohio and Jeff (Mary Anne) Jacobs of Jacksonville, Florida. During her time in Washington Court House she enjoyed summers at the swimming pool, attending events at Washington Country Club, socializing with her many friends and working at Steen’s Department Store. Alberta was a wonderful and loving mother, always a Lady and had a beautiful smile. She had a love for the color pink, butterflies, angels, Hallmark Movies and family gatherings. She taught us about empathy, compassion and so very much more. Our friends were her friends and we are all so very grateful and blessed to have had her in our lives for so many years.
The last three years of her life Alberta lived in Independent Living at Concordia at Sumner in Copley, Ohio. Her family would like to thank their Aides and Staff for the care, friendship and love they showed her during her time with them. Alberta’s family is also extremely grateful to Dr. Michael Bianco for his many years of care and for the Doctors, Nurses and Hospice Caregivers at Summa-Akron City Hospital who helped her and us during her final days.
