Rachel A. Jarvis, 88, formerly of Wadsworth, more recently of Traditions at Bath Rd. Cuyahoga Falls, passed away Monday, December 6, 2010. She was born July 14, 1922, in Meadville, PA to the late Anthony and Josephine Napolitano (Naples). Mrs. Jarvis was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, retired from PCA and Wadsworth Rittman Hospital. She was a ray of sunshine to anyone she met and was an avid bingo player, enjoyed working crossword and jigsaw puzzles. She was preceded in death by husband Lee Jarvis, sisterMary Berkey, brothers Sam, John and Albert Naples. Rachel is survived by her children Gary Jarvis of Westerville, Carol Baker of Stow and Glori Jarvis of San Diego. She is survived by 5 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren and one brother Frank Naples of PA. The family will receive friends 4-8 PM Thursday at The Hilliard-Rospert Funeral Home, 174 N. Lyman Street, Wadsworth. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Friday at 9:30 AM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 272 Broad Street, Wadsworth. Please meet at the Church. Interment will be in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.
