John R. Dicks, 80, of Wadsworth, passed away Saturday, February 20, 2016. He was born December 10, 1935 in Lebanon, IN to the late Jessie and Octavia (Brown) Dicks.

Mr. Dicks was a member of Grace Lutheran Church and worked all of his life as a Chemical Engineer. He enjoyed making toys for his children when they were little and was an avid reader.

He was preceded in death by his sister Edith Ann Dicks.

John is survived by his wife Charlotte with whom he celebrated 50 years of marriage; one daughter and son-in-law Amy and Raymond Moberly of CA, son John Dicks of Hinckley, OH, one grandson Walker Moberly of CA .

The family will receive friends 3-5 & 7-9 pm Wednesday at the Hilliard-Rospert Funeral Home, 174 N. Lyman St., Wadsworth. Funeral service will be conducted 11AM Thursday at Grace Lutheran Church 146 High St., Wadsworth. Interment will be in Granger Fairview Cemetery.
