Franklin L. “Frank” Johnson, 76, of Clinton passed away Monday, September 3, 2012. He was born June 2, 1936 in the Clinton home he still resided in to the late Russell L. and Alma Johnson.
Mr. Johnson was a charter member of Northside Christian Church. He graduated from Manchester High School Class of 1956 and Roanoke Bible College in 1962.
Frank was an ordained minister, and was a former employee of the Siberling Rubber Co. He loved to deer hunt, grow a garden, cut down trees and split wood and enjoyed cooking meals with his wife Jerry. Frank and Jerry worked as a team and were most often seen together.
He was preceded in death by his step son Larry White. Frank is survived by his wife of 37 years Jerry (nee Vaughn – White), Three daughters: Judy (Pete) Turok of NC, Allie Harper of AL and Sally (Terry) Finch of MI. There are two sisters: Alice Gerbig of Barberton, Joanne Lepley of FL one brother Robert (Margery) Johnson of NC along with numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted 7:00 PM Friday at the Hilliard-Rospert Funeral Home, 174 N. Lyman St. Wadsworth with Pastor Robin Hart officiating.
The family will receive friends 3 hours prior to services from 4-7 PM Friday,
