Madeline M. Kelly, 87, of Wadsworth passed away April 16, 2018. She was born December 16, 1930 in Queens, New York to the late Michael and Helen Hofmann.

She was a physical education teacher at Sacred Heart Catholic Church and a substitute teacher in Wadsworth City Schools. She also coached CYO sports. She was a member of the garden club and enjoyed playing cards and watching basketball. During her time at Hunter College, she was member of the basketball team.

Madeline was preceded in death by her husband, Robert; son, Robert; and brother Bob.

She is survived by her children Lyn (Jack) Riley, Mike (Candi) Kelly, and Kevin (Cindy) Kelly; daughter in law, Cindy Kelly; 11 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; sister Joan Britt; and sister in law Angeles Hofmann.

The family will receive friends Thursday from 4-7pm at the Hilliard-Rospert Funeral Home, 174 N. Lyman St. Wadsworth, Ohio. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday, at 9:30 am at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 260 Broad St., Wadsworth, Ohio.
