Martin Kettenbauer, 83, of Wadsworth, passed away Sunday, March 20, 2016 surrounded by family and friends. He was born October 23, 1932 in Yugoslavia to the late Mathias and Theresia Kettenbauer.

Mr. Kettenbauer was a veteran of the United States Army and was a retired steel worker.

Martin is survived by his wife of 53 years Carol, sons; Jerry Kettenbauer and Norman (Dawn) Kettenbauer and their 2 sons Jacob and Samuel, who grampa loved spending many happy, fun and funny times with. Martin enjoyed hunting, fishing in Canada, watching his son play hockey, the Cleveland Indians, and his grandkids sporting events. He also loved listening to his favorite music-German, Polish, Polkas and music from Nick Kuchta Band.

A memorial service be held at 7:30 pm Thursday March 24th at the Hilliard-Rospert Funeral Home, 174 N. Lyman St, Wadsworth. The family will receive friends from 6 to 7:30 pm prior to the service.

Inurnment will be in Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery at 2:30 pm Friday. Please meet at the cemetery information center at 2:15
