Dr. Dudley Davis Kimpton, 90, of Wadsworth passed away peacefully on Wednesday April 30, 2014. He was born February 15, 1924 in Akron to the late Walter B. and Anna Kimpton.
Mr. Kimpton was a very smart man, he was the Valedictorian for all of Summit County, graduated from Case Western University and received his PhD from the University of Illinois. He was retired from PPG and had also been a chemistry teacher. Dudley was a very kind man and will be dearly missed by his family.
He was preceded in death by his wife Katherine L. (Durbrow) Kimpton.
Dudley is survived by his children: Paul (Anita) Kimpton, and Pamela (Robert) Crouch, his grandchildren Jennifer, Debra, Karen and Thomas and 6 great grandchildren.
Private services have been held for the family.
