Christian Malachi Kitchen, age 17, passed away suddenly on January 3, 2022. He was born in Medina on January 15, 2004 and was a life resident of the area.
Christian enjoyed anything video game or computer related, hanging with friends, Legos, cars (Teslas especially!), helping others, and making everyone around him laugh with his witty sense of humor. He loved his family fiercely and his dogs were a bright light in his world.
Preceded in death by Grandma Sandy Everly, Grandpa Bob Stewart, cousin, Paige, great-grandparents and uncles, Christian is survived by his mother, Jess (Brad); father, Brandan (Brooke); sister, Jasmyn (Tyler); brother, Marcus (Sarah); step-brothers, Cody, Alex, Chris and Kaden; Nana Peggy, Papa Jack (Laura) and Papa Don; Aunt Christina (Jimmy), Aunt Liz, Aunt Sami (Logan), Uncle Wyatt, Grandma Donna, Uncle Bob (Kim), Uncle Brian, Aunt Mandy (Ben); and Rohrbaugh/Kitchen/Stewart family cousins.
Christian would’ve been 18 on January 15th and was, by far, the hardest working, most dedicated young man we’ve ever known. His family and friends have lost a huge part of our hearts, and we will miss him forever.
Thank you to the Rittman community and friends and family that have donated or reached out with words of comfort.
Friends and family will be received on Friday, January 7th, from 3 to 7 p.m. at the Hilliard-Rospert Funeral Home, 174 N. Lyman St. in Wadsworth. Facial coverings will be required. A funeral service, officiated by Drew Wolff, will be held for Christian’s family at 2 p.m. on Sunday, January 9th at the funeral home.
