Leah “Kathryn” Kreider, 103, of Wadsworth, passed away Sunday, September 25, 2011. She was born on July 23, 1908 in Wadsworth to the late Norman and Pearl Kreider.
Ms. Kreider was a member of Jerusalem Lutheran Church. She worked at the Former Ohio Match Co. for 18 years before moving to Berkley, CA in 1945. While in California she was a Cashier and Bookkeeper in the District office of the California State Automobile Association until her retirement in 1970.
Kathryn was preceded in death by her brothers Paul and Nelson and nephews Wayne and David.
She is survived by her nephew James (Carole) Kreider of Vero Beach, FL, nieces Joan (Wayne Birkbeck of Winter Park, FL, Leah Beachy of Oviedo, FL and Cristine (Kenneth) Smith of Plantation, FL. There are seven great nieces and five great nephews also surviving.
A memorial service will be conducted 11:00 AM Saturday, October 1, 2011 at Jerusalem Lutheran Church, 9282 Acme Rd., Seville, with Pastors Edward Kropa and Gerald Keller officiating.
