Sylvia M. Kreider, 88, of Wadsworth passed away Sunday May,13, 2012. She was born on November 18, 1923 in Burbank, OH to the late Charles and Daisy Strouse. Mrs. Kreider was a member of Wadsworth United Methodist Church where she belonged to the Kindred Spirits, she was retired from Wadsworth City Schools, she belonged to the low vision group at Buehler’s and went to Guilford Twp. to help tie quilts.
She was preceded in death by her husband Robert in 2006 and two sisters Dorothy and Florence.
Sylvia is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Pat and John Weber of Wadsworth, son and daughter-in-law Dennis and Carolyn Kreider of Wadsworth Twp. and four grandchildren: Angie (Darren) Newcomer, Jeff (Chris) Weber, Julie (Rob) Smith and Jodie (Shawn) Welsh. There are eleven great grandchildren: Shawn, Jacob, Emma, Lydia and Grace Newcomer, Tyler, Hannah, Joshua and Caleb Smith and Brooke and Caitlin Welsh along with her siblings: Don and Bud Strouse, Elenora Hardee, Mick McVicker, Grace Ruf and Jean Kline also surviving.
Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 PM Wednesday at the Wadsworth United Methodist Church, 195 Broad St., Wadsworth where the family will receive friends two hours prior to services from 12 noon – 2PM. Interment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery.
