Maxine Leatherman, 81, died March 27, 2017. She was born September 15, 1935 in Wayne, West Virginia to the late Howard and Mary Smith.

Maxine was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles for 35 years. She loved spending time with her family and grandchildren and enjoyed painting, puzzles and watching sports.

Preceded in death by her son Steven Leatherman, 2 brothers and 5 sisters, she is survived by her husband of 61 years, Donald; daughters Rebecca (Richard) Bush of Orrville and Michaelle (Rick) Gidley of Orrville; grandchildren Greg Dean, Shannon and Melanie Bush; great-grandchildren Tori and Tyler Dean; sister Lila Mae (Paul) Duka of Wadsworth and a host of other relatives and friends.

Private services will be held for the family. Memorial donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
