Mildred Lesher, 94, of Wadsworth, passed away Friday, October 30, 2015. She was born on September 8, 1921 in Akron to the late Herbert and Minnie Brown. Mrs. Lesher was a Member of Wadsworth United Methodist Church and a former Welcome Wagon Lady for the Wadsworth Area. She was a charter member of the Wadsworth Women’s Club where she served as president on more than one occasion, was a former Parliamentarian and wrote the History of the Wadsworth Women’s Club. She was a wonderful hostess, seamstress and enjoyed playing Bridge.

She was preceded in death by her husband Carl and three sisters: Eleanor Lesher, Jean Rangler and Virginia Waugh.

Mildred is survived by her daughter Carla and nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted 4pm Tuesday, November 3, 2015 at Wadsworth United Methodist Church, 195 Broad St. Wadsworth. Friends will be received two hours prior to services from 2-4 pm.

Private interment will take place at a later time for the family.
