June E. Linson, 85, of Wadsworth, passed away Monday, December 22, 2014. She was born on June 27, 1929 to the late Bryan and Bernice Ogle. Mrs. Linson resided in Wadsworth 47 years, previously residing in Mansfield for 17 years. Mrs. Linson taught English and Journalism at Wadsworth High School for many years. She loved to read and devoted many hours playing and perfecting her golf game at Rawiga Country Club. She was a member and past president of the Greater Cleveland Women’s Golf Association. As an avid bridge player, June played in several bridge clubs. She was an active member of Grace Lutheran Church in Wadsworth.
Mrs. Linson was preceded in death by her husband Donald on November 26, 2001. She is survived by her son Jeffrey, of Cold Springs, NY, daughter Leslie Wable of Stow and three grandchildren ; Lindsey and Bryan Wable and Stefan Linson.
The family will receive friends 1-4pm Sunday at the Hilliard-Rospert Funeral Home, 174 N. Lyman St., Wadsworth. Funeral services will be conducted 10:00 am Monday at Grace Lutheran Church, 146 High St., Wadsworth with The Rev. Daniel J. Cammarn officiating. Interment will be in Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Grace Lutheran Church.
