Paul E. Long Sr., 82, formerly of Wadsworth, more recently of Seville, passed away Tuesday September 29, 2009. Born December 17, 1926 in Wadsworth to the late David and Mary Long. Mr. Long was a U.S. Army Veteran and had been a Dairy Farmer all of his life. He enjoyed driving tractors, planting fields and loved his wife, sons, grandchildren and all of his family. He was preceded in death by his siblings; Lidy Schmid, Florence Mills, Lois Acker, Francie, David and Mel Long.
He is survived by his wife of 62 years Kathryn (nee: Bird) Long, sons and daughters in law; Paul E. Jr. and Connie Long of Smithville, OH Richard and Pam Long of Indiana and Bill and Holly Long of Polk, OH. There are his grandchildren Megan, Molly, Myranda, William Cody and one sister Betty Rohrbough of Rittman also surviving.
The family will receive friends 2-5 PM Sunday at the Hilliard-Rospert Funeral Home 174 N. Lyman St., Wadsworth where funeral services will be conducted 11:00 AM Monday with Dr. John Mills officiating. Interment Woodlawn Cemetery.
