Marion Ann Longfield, 84, of Wadsworth passed away Wednesday, June 24, 2009.

Born December 7, 1924 in East Orange, NJ to the late Charles and Ann
Walters. Mrs. Longfield was a 50 year member of First Christian Church Disciples of Christ Wadsworth OH, was retired from the Wadsworth City Schools, enjoyed quilting with her husband in their retirement years, family vacations at the Outer Banks, and loved spending time with her grandchildren.

Preceded in death by one brother Charles Walters, and two sisters Olive Robertson and Gertrude Nanfelt. She is survived by her husband Warren, with whom she celebrated 64 years of marriage on Tuesday, June 23, 2009, sons and daughters-in-law; Keith and Karen Longfield of Wadsworth, Eugene and Viki Longfield of St. Louis, MO, and Bruce and Joelene Longfield of Austintown, OH. There are 6 grandchildren; Erick (Sarah) Longfield, Kristie Longfield, Jason (Leslie) Longfield, Valerie (Craig) Ross, Katie (Daniel) Boarman, and Chad Longfield,
2 great grandchildren Annabelle Marion Boarman and Jaden Nicole Longfield, her sister Shirley Wyckoff, and her dear friend Janet Fulton.

The family will receive friends 2-4 and 7-9 PM Friday at the Hilliard-Rospert Funeral Home, 174 N. Lyman St. Wadsworth. Funeral services
will be conducted 10:00 AM Saturday at Trinity United Church of Christ, 215 High St. Wadsworth, with Rev. James Singleton officiating. Interment Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.
