Beloved husband, father, and friend Wilson “Pete” Love, 69, of Wadsworth, passed away unexpectedly Sunday, June 19, 2011. He was born April 28, 1942 in Grand Rapids, MI, to the late David and Nellie Love.
Pete was a strong, outgoing, gentle, and modest man. He is survived by his loving wife Faye (Blough), his children Jennifer Love, Melissa Love (Matt Miller), Melinda (James) Lemieux, and Matthew (Stacey) Love. Also surviving are grandchildren Krista Crisamore, Beckham and Keegan Love, and Mia and Tyler Lemieux, his mother-in-law Ruth Blough, as well as sisters Betty (Bob) Berlin, Nancy (Howard) Leatherman, Sue (Chuck) Raw, and brothers Jack (Joyce) Love, Dennis (Patti) Blough, and David (Faye) Blough.
Pete’s extended family and his friends were very important to him. He was a proud member of his WHS class of 1960. He loved playing golf and enjoyed playing guitar and singing with his good friend Bob Roberts. Pete was a special man, good natured, kind and loving.
The family will receive friends Sunday, June 26 from 2-5 PM at the Hilliard-Rospert Funeral Home, 174 N. Lyman St., Wadsworth. Funeral services will be conducted at 12 Noon Monday at First Christian Church, 116 East Boyer St., Wadsworth, with the Reverend James Singleton officiating. Internment Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to First Christian Church or the Wadsworth Salvation Army.
