Lois Lundberg, 82, passed away January 8, 2017. She was born to Rilla and Cletus Coffman in Rittman, Ohio, December 12, 1934.

Lois graduated from Doylestown High School and Western Maryland College. After briefly teaching in Maryland, she went on to a long career of teaching in U.S. Department of Defense schools in Europe.

In 1963 Lois married a fellow teacher, Larry Lundberg. The two had a rich life together, enjoying extensive travel, a love of animals, a passion for fine food and drink, and a vast array of friends from many countries.

After the unexpected death of Larry in 2001 and the death of her beloved horse Bob in 2004, Lois returned to Ohio to be near family and friends, settling in Wadsworth.

She is survived by her sisters Eleanor Furry of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, and Ethel Trevethan of San Antonio, Texas, and by many loving cousins, nieces, and nephews, and by many dear friends.

Gifts in her memory can be made to the ASPCA or to the charity of one’s choice.
