Margaret “Margie” Magyar, 70, of Rittman passed away April 17th at Medina Hospice after a three week illness.
She was born October 21, 1942 in Filbert, WV and moved to Wadsworth in 1946. After graduating WHS class of 1960, she worked in accounting at PCA in Rittman for 39 years, retiring in 1999.
Margie was a lover of nature in every sense, an environmental advocate, avid reader, collector, and a talented and meticulous decorator.
Preceding her in death were her grandfather Steve Magyar, father Oscar Magyar, sister Frances Graham, and brothers-in-law Bob Graham and William Kinnard.
Surviving family members include her mother Helen Magyar of Doylestown, brother Oscar Magyar (Linda) of Wadsworth, sister Helen Kinnard of Xenia, nieces Christine Wheeler (Gary) of Xenia, Stephanie Kinnard of Xenia, great niece Celeste Wheeler of Athens, nephews Jeff Graham of Stow, John Magyar (Kelly) of Rittman, Steve Magyar (Polly) of Wadsworth, great nieces Abby, Sarah, and Gracie Magyar, Skyler, Katelin, and Lyla Magyar, and great nephews Joey and Ethan Magyar. She also leaves her long time companion Gus Triantafillou of Wadsworth.
We all loved her so; daughter, sister, aunt, and unique person.
The family will receive friends from 3-6 PM Monday, April 22 at the Hilliard-Rospert Funeral Home, 174 N. Lyman St., Wadsworth, where funeral services will be conducted at 6:00 PM Monday with Deacon Roger Klaas officiating.
