Rittman –

Roy H. Maki, 92, of Rittman passed away Monday June 4, 2012. He was born on July 21, 1919 in Ironwood, MI to the late Ole and Helia Maki. Mr. Maki was a WWII Army veteran and retired from Seiberling Tire and Rubber after 35 years of service.
He was preceded in death by his daughter Janice Bliss, Brothers John and Ray Maki and sisters Viola Snell and Olivia Thomas. Roy is survived by his wife Margie with whom he celebrated 72 years of marriage, two sons and daughters-in-law Dan and Cecelia Maki of Wadsworth and Keith and Sheila Maki of South Carolina. There are 7 grandchildren, 19 great – grandchildren, 3 great – great- grandchildren and three sisters Eleanor, Eunice and Florence also surviving.
Graveside services with military honors will be conducted 10:00 AM, Tuesday, June 12, 2012 at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery. Please meet at the cemetery information center at 9:45AM.
