Willy Manik, 45, of Wadsworth, passed away on the morning of August 16, 2023, following a 5-year battle with cancer. He lived graciously and courageously until the end.
Willy loved time with his family, especially with his son Oliver and their monthly Home Depot Saturdays. He enjoyed cooking, video games, driving and taking care of his black Jetta.
Willy was employed as a hibachi chef at Wasabi Steakhouse.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ir Kaplan and Rosnini Lumongga Sumanjalk Manik brothers; Romel Saut Panulian Manik and Henra Horas Pangihutan Manik, his father-in-law Dale Steiner. Willy is survived by his wife Brandy, son Oliver, brother and sister-in-law Otto and Nanda Lia Manik; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Josh and Grace Steiner, Rachel Steiner, Brian Bickel, Wes and Michelle Bickel, mother-in-law Beth Steiner, father-in-law, Gary (Cheryl) Bickel; grandparents Shirley Holland and Elizabeth Steiner, his dear friends Hayro Putranto, Patar Sinaga and Uma Siniga along with many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Private services will be held for the family at this time and a Celebration of Willy’s life will be announced at a later time.
