Raymond C. Marris, 84, of Norton passed away February 23, 2016. He was born July 5, 1931 in Akron, Ohio to the late Galen and Mary Marris. Preceded in death by his sister, Dorothy Cramer.

Mr. Marris grew up in Barberton, Ohio. Was a member of Mt. Zwingli United Church of Christ and proudly served in the US Marine Corps. He is survived by his wife Helen Marris (nee Smith), they enjoyed 59 years together. He is also survived by his sons William Marris and Scott (Eva) Marris. Grandchildren Derek and Danielle Marris. There are also several nieces and nephews.

Calling hours will be held Sunday, Feb. 28th from 2-4pm at Hilliard Rospert Funeral Home 174 N. Lyman St. Wadsworth. Funeral Services will be Monday, Feb. 29, 2016 at 11 am at Mt. Zwingli United Church of Christ, 2172 S. Medina Line Rd. Wadsworth, Ohio. Interment will take place at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in Rittman, Ohio.
