Evelyn June May, 78, of Wadsworth, passed away peacefully Wednesday, October 28, 2009. Evelyn was born in Akron, OH to the late Jesse and Margaret (Folk) Moyer.
Mrs. May was a long time 4-H advisor, past Matron of the Order of the Eastern Star #102, and a member of the Sharon Center United Methodist Church.
Preceded in death by daughter Patricia Ann Farnsworth.
Evelyn is survived by her husband Dallas S. May, daughter Barbara Ann Finck-Krampitz of Lebanon, PA, son-in-law Dan Farnsworth of Wadsworth, and grandchildren Erin and Chance Farnsworth, and Jessica and Emily Finck.
Funeral services will be conducted 9:30 AM Monday at the Hilliard-Rospert Funeral Home, 174 N. Lyman St. Wadsworth with Pastor Tim McCollum officiating. The family will receive friends 2-4 & 6-8 PM Sunday, with OES service at 7:30 PM. Interment Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery.
