Cecil “Jim” Maynard, age 80, passed peacefully from this world on April 24, 2018 after a brief illness.

Jim was born Sept. 18, 1937 in the rural hills of West Virginia. He was raised and lived his life in Wadsworth, Ohio.

He is preceded in death by his devoted wife of over 40 years, Dorothy “Dottie” Maynard.

Jim leaves behind his daughters, grandchildren, great grandchildren and many other loving family and friends.

Jim was a fierce bridge player, had a long standing appreciation of cars and motorcycles, and was a master of negotiating the deal.

The family will receive guests 12-1pm Saturday, May 5, at the Hilliard Rospert Funeral Home 174 N. Lyman St. Wadsworth, Ohio, where a funeral service will be conducted at 1pm with Rev. Jacquie McMillen officiating. Burial will be at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, family requests memorial donations be made to Marian’s Closet, Wadsworth, Ohio.
