Lois Jean (Oplinger) McDermott, 87, of Wadsworth died Friday, February 14, 2014. She was born November 11, 1926 in Wadsworth to the late Ray and Mary (Lipley) Opplinger.
She was preceded in death by her special friend Harold Nicodemus, brother Dale Opplinger and sisters Marcella Barton, Ruby Hackenberg and Lucille Kasserman, grandson Jacob McDermott and great granddaughter Alexandria Stefan.
Lois is survived by her children: Gerry (Ted) Morring, Jim (Sandy) McDermott, Larry (Luana) McDermott, Mary Jo (Bob) Derrick and Pam (Jim) Lance. There are 15 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren.
At her request there will be no visitation or funeral service.
Graveside services will be conducted 11:00AM Monday, February 24, 2013 at Woodlawn Cemetery.
