Mary Helen (Roush) McDonald, age 91, of Medina (formerly Circleville) passed away Sunday, October 23, 2011.

She was born June 7, 1920 in Gahanna, OH, to the late Don C. and May (Lamp) Roush. She graduated from Gahanna Lincoln High School and attended Ohio State.

She is survived by her loving husband of 69 1/2 years David Elmer (Mac); children son David (fiancé Linda Wirz), daughter Kay (Jim) Archer, and daughter in law Nancy; grandchildren Kimberly (Anthony) Priola, J.D. Archer (Misty), Becky (Scott) Hogue, T.R. (Christy and Jon; step grandchildren David (Julie) Miller; great grandchildren A.J., Tucker and Mia Priola, Jonathan and Marin Hogue, and Mia McDonald; step great grandchildren Margaret and Annie Miller.

She was preceded in death by her brothers Ernest, Don and Edwin (Dubbs) and her son Tom.

A Celebration of Mary Helen’s life will be held Nov. 12th, 11:30 A.M. at Mt. Zwingli UCC, 2172 S. Medina Line Rd., Wadsworth, OH. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of Medina County, 100 High Point Dr., Medina, OH 44256, Mt. Zwingli UCC Outreach, or a charity of your choice.
