Daniel B. “Dan” McElroy, 61, of Wadsworth, formerly of Cincinnati, OH passed away Wednesday, April 11, 2012. He was born on January 23, 1951 in Philadelphia, PA to the lateJohn and Earlene McElroy.
He was a member of Radiant Life Church and Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Dan was a U.S. Air Force Veteran, a member of the Knights of Columbus was employed by ZEP. Inc., enjoyed cycling, brewing and riding in his Miata.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife Debra “De” McElroy, son and daughter-in-law Daniel McElroy Jr. and Suzanne McElroy of Columbus, OH, daughter Diana McElroy of Fairfield, OH, two grandchildren Nina Christine and Julien Vincent, one sister Alma McElroy of Philadelphia, PA and his God sister Carolyn Thomas of Sharonville, OH.
Funeral services will be conducted at 12:00 noon, Saturday April 14 at Radiant Life Church, 951 High St., Wadsworth with Pastor Lance Porubski officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to services at the church from 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM. Interment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery.
