Elizabeth “Betty” McIntire, 97, of Wadsworth, passed away Thursday, March 17, 2011. Born May 1, 1913 in Altenbagen, Germany to the late Mike and Kathrine (Goehring) Hopp. Betty was a member of Grace Lutheran Church, Akron Women’s City Club, Bud-N-Bloom Gardens Club, Parmi Nous, and Bowlerettes Bowling League.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald McIntire and sister Catherine Bachmau.
Betty is survived by her niece Kathryn Smith.
The family will receive friends Tuesday, March 22, 10-11AM at the Hilliard-Rospert Funeral Home, 174 N. Lyman St. Wadsworth, where Funeral Services will be conducted at 11AM with the Rev. Daniel J. Cammarn officiating. Interment will be at Greenlawn Memorial Park.
