Lois Sally Meager, 89, of Wadsworth passed away February 23, 2018. Lois was born July 8, 1929 in Rittman, Ohio.

Lois was a lifelong resident of Wadsworth and member of First Christian Church. She graduated from WHS in 1947 and attended Miami University. She married her husband Bruce in 1949. They were married 54 years until his death in 2003. She was employed at PCA, the Akron Urban League, Goodwill Employment Resource Center she retired at the age of 80 as a Employment Placement Specialist. She enjoyed spending time with her family and was very proud of them. She liked to play cards, going to the beach and was a lover of animals. She was also a follower of the Cavaliers, Indians, Ohio State and the Wadsworth Grizzlies.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Bruce Meager, grandson Daniel Callihan and sisters Mary Benedict and Alice Dew.

She is survived by her children; Debra (Steve) Melda, Diane Summers, David (Luci) Meager, and Tim (Susan) Meager. Grandchildren; Mary, Erin, Ann, Jennie, Bobby, Amy, Kit, James. Great grandchildren, John, Javon, Aidan, Oliver, Clara, Aubrie, Pray and Daisy and great-great grandchildren Gabriella and Jaxson. There are several nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Family will receive friends 10-11am Thursday March 1, 2018 at the Hilliard Rospert Funeral Home 174 N. Lyman St. Wadsworth, Ohio. Funeral Services will be conducted 11am with Karen Rule Officiating. Interment will be at Woodlawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers family request contributions be made to Hospice of Medina Co., 5075 Windfall Rd. Medina, Ohio 44256.
