Obituary
Sally Joan (Flohr) Melton, 79, of Wadsworth passed away Wednesday December 22, 2010. She was born November 16, 1931 in Akron to the late Charles and Margaret Flohr. Mrs. Melton was a member of Prince of Peace Catholic Church, was an RN at Akron City Hospital for 42 years and volunteered for the American Red Cross at Wadsworth Rittman Hospital and Friends of the Wadsworth Public Library. She loved to walk, read and spend time with her family.
She was preceded in death by her husband Harry Melton and is survived by her son and daughter in law Richard and Susan Melton of Akron and daughter and son in law Deborah and Doug Warner of Wadsworth. There are her grandchildren , Melissa, Amanda and Steven Warner, brothers Ivan, Charles Jr., Mick (Mary) and Patrick Flohr and sisters in law Susan (Lynn) Myers and Margie Melton, Judy, Evelyn, Linda Flohr and many nieces and nephews also survivng.
The family will receive friends 4:30 – 8:30 PM Monday at the Hilliard-Rospert Funeral Home, 174 N. Lyman St. Wadsworth and one hour prior to services on Tuesday from 12:00 – 1:00 PM at Prince of Peace Catholic Church, 1263 Shannon Ave., Barberton. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 1:00 PM at Prince of Peace Catholic Church with Fr. Robert Jackson Celebrant.
