Laurie (nee Zorn) Mendenhall, 44, beloved wife and mother. Laurie passed away unexpectedly on Sunday August 17, 2014.
Laurie grew up in Hinckley and graduated from Highland High School in 1988. She attended Ohio University and received a bachelors degree in accounting. Laurie was employed by First Energy.
She married the Love of her life, Steve. They resided in Wadsworth with their two sons.
She was preceded in death by her father David Zorn.
Laurie leaves behind her husband Steve, sons Jacob and Daniel, her mother Mary Jean Zorn and sisters Dawn Butsch and Tracy (Brian) Smith. She is also survived by her father-in-law and mother-in-law Denny and Char Mendenhall, sister-in-law and brother-in-law Sheila and Tom Kelly and many nieces and nephews.
Laurie was a light in our lives. She was full of life and her laughter was contagious. We will miss her greatly but know she will always be shining down on us.
Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 am Thursday at the Hilliard-Rospert Funeral Home, 174 N. Lyman St., Wadsworth where the family will receive friends Wednesday 2-4 and 6-8pm and Thursday one hour prior to services from 10-11am.
Interment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery.
