Wadsworth — Oscar Merrow Jr., age 61, passed away on November 27, 2021 in Chaparral, New Mexico. He was born in Wadsworth on February 13, 1960 to Oscar Sr. and the late Ann Love Merrow.

Oscar was employed as a journeyman pattern maker for 38 years and in his spare time, he enjoyed camping, the outdoors, model trains, hunting, exploring mines and treasure hunting. He was known for his conviction and dedication to his beliefs.

Preceded in death by his mother, Ann Merrow; grandparents, George and Marion Mullin; several aunts and uncles; and numerous cousins, Oscar is survived by his father, Oscar Merrow Sr.; brother and sister-in-law, Tom and Gerry Merrow; nephew and his wife, Nate and Crystal Tausch and their children, Alexis and Ashlyn; nephew and his wife, Sam Merrow and Amelia Duckett; along with numerous other loving family members.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, December 10th at Seville United Methodist Church, 74 W Main St., Seville, OH 44273-9135, with Rev. Donald Kuntz officiating. Friends and family will be received at the church one hour prior to the service, from 10 to 11 a.m. Facial coverings will be required at all services. Interment will follow at Mound Hill Cemetery. Should friends desire, memorial contributions may be made to Seville United Methodist Church or a charity of your choice.
