Carla R. Mika, 81, of Wadsworth Twp. died unexpectedly, Wednesday evening. She was born on November 27, 1929 in Wadsworth to the late Francis and Mary Bolich. Mrs. Mika was a graduate of Wadsworth High School Class of 1947 and graduated form Akron General Medical Center School of Nursing. She was retired form Barberton Citizens Hospital as a registered nurse and was currently employed by Barberton Nursing Service.
She was preceded in death by her husband Charles, infant daughter Carol Noel and sister Gladys Chambers.
Carla is survived by her sons; Richard (Kelly) Mika of Rittman, Tom (Pam) Mika of Creston, Lawrence Mika of Wadsworth and David Mika of Wadsworth.
There are 7 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren also surviving.
The family will receive friends 4-7 PM, Monday at the Hilliard-Rospert Funeral Home, 174 N. Lyman St. Wadsworth where funeral services will be conducted at 10:00 AM Tuesday.
Interment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery.
